How TradeOffr verifies provider offers and plan changes

A transparent look at what gets automated, what requires human review and why unknown data stays unknown.

Provider-controlled sources come first

TradeOffr records the source used for pricing, plan rules and offers wherever possible. Automated monitoring checks those sources for material changes, but a changed webpage is treated as a signal to review rather than automatic proof that a product term changed.

Automation has guardrails

High-confidence structured updates can move through the catalogue workflow. Ambiguous or failed checks keep the last verified value and move into review rather than silently replacing it.

  • No invented coupon codes
  • No affiliate ID displayed as a customer discount
  • No inferred plan feature when the tier is unclear
  • No ranking boost for higher affiliate commission

Provider corrections are welcome

Providers can submit official pricing, policy, logo and product sources through the partner update workflow. Submissions are labelled for review and do not automatically override independently recorded information.

Use this guide as a framework for research. Provider rules and product terms can change; check the current provider source before paying or trading.
